The copyright gives to the author of the work an exclusive
and opposable right of property.
The property’s right includes moral and proprietary rights.
The copyright, that exists whatever the kind, the way of expression,
the merit or the purpose of the work, is likely to protect particularly
industrial creations (i.e. clothing patterns, furniture shapes,
etc.) but also pragmatic works such as train timetables or road
maps.
The work is protected from its creation
without any filing procedures.
The copyright lasts for the author’s life plus seventy
years after his/her death.
